In 2016 I was asked by Eiïchiro Toyama Sensei of Japan to write a system for Ju-Jitsu exams with involved the Fighting-combat system. The system I wrote and expanded in Japan is now recognized as one of the official grading-systems of the Ju-Jitsu International Federation. This was the reason for the Japan federation to promote me to 7th Dan. A great honor.
At the JJIF-meeting of the 2nd of November in Abu Dhabi, I got my worldwide recognition of that 7th Dan by the Ju-Jitsu International Federation. Presented by Panagiotis Theodoropoulos, chairman of the JJIF. Again a great honor.
That honor of recognition the Dutch Federation, the Judobond Nederland, didn’t grant me.
So my 7th Dan is recognized al over the world except in my own country, because of rooster tactics. 40 years of international work for our country in the JJEU and JJIF wasn’t worth to get one of the Dutch board be present at my farewell party with my Dutch referees. Politicks kill’s our beautiful sport. I hate this.
