My name is Peter Smid and I've been born on 31-03-1956 in Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
From my 11th my favorite sports are martial arts in all sorts. I've started with unarmed combat on my 11th. Soon this was not enough. Then I started Ju-Jitsu and Judo at the National Federation and made from Locks and Groundfight my specialty. Later I started with Karate in three styles, English boxing, Aikido and Tangsoodo.
My black belt degrees are: 7th Dan Ju-jitsu, 6th Dan Tangsoodo, 1st Dan Karate and 1st Dan Judo.
From BJJ I'm owner of the Brown Belt
In 2013 I’ve been knighted by my national federation for the work I do, national and international
The Japanese Fighting Grading-System
In 2016 I was promoted by the AJJJF to Senior Supervisor of the All-Japan Ju-Jitsu Federation.
In that position I implemented, together with the Japanese Federation the Japanese-Fighting-System. The system to award belts from yellow till 5th Dan.
Now the Japanese-Fighting-System is recognized by the Jujitsu International Federation and can be used for international recognized belt promotion all over the world, by every National Federation.
